Support Us
Leanchoil is a treasured landmark in Forres, Moray, which served the community for over 125 years. Once a bustling cottage hospital, its doors closed in 2018 and has since laid empty.
Not for much longer.
With the support of the people of the Forres area and our funders, the Leanchoil Trust is working to bring this amazing property back into service for the community.
We have already received tremendous support from the organisations shown on this page. Their continued support will rely on how much we can demonstrate support from the wider Forres community.
Others have taken this membership a step further. Our volunteers and trustees for example, give up their time and energy to help progress the project. Others have raised money through charitable events. One such is former sergeant major in the Queen’s Own Highlanders, Albert Duffus. Albert has been fund-raising since 2013 and has already raised £24,000 for Leanchoil through his annual golf competitions at Forres Golf Club. Thank you Albert!
If you would like to nominate the Leanchoil project as the beneficiary of your charitable fundraising, please let us know and we will provide any support you need to maximise your efforts. Just email us at info@leanchoiltrust.org
