The Leanchoil Trust has appointed a new development officer to take the project forward.
Vicki Quinlan has come to the Trust from her role for BAE Systems at RAF Lossiemouth.
Born in Leanchoil and raised in Forres, Vicki returned to her roots after a rewarding career in the RAF. She served as a Weapons Systems Officer on the Nimrod MR2 at Kinloss and, more recently, supported the arrival of its replacement, the P-8A Poseidon at Lossiemouth.
Vicki, who lives in Forres with her husband, a teacher at Forres Academy, and their young daughter, said she and her family have always called Moray home and is delighted to join the Leanchoil team. Here she intends to bring her considerable management and leadership expertise to bear and help bring the vision for Leanchoil to fruition.
“I look forward to building on the incredible groundwork already laid, helping turn Leanchoil into the vibrant, community-led Health and Wellbeing Centre that Forres and the wider Moray area deserves,” she said.
Chair of Leanchoil Trust, Marianne Nicolson, said: “The Leanchoil Trust is delighted to welcome Vicki as Development Officer at this busy phase of Leanchoil’s rebirth .
“Vicki’s impressive history of delivering on challenging projects makes her an ideal person for the role, and her local credentials underline her commitment to the area.”
